Distortion is a dance theatre project created by Amelia Watson.

Amelia explores the human rights model of disability and the restrictions of western, formalised dance. Distortion is a gothic inspired world where the human body is explored through externalised abstraction. It poses the question for audiences... what makes a body 'able'?

This project is generously supported by the Tanja Liedkte Foundation and Australian Dance Theatre.
